Voltage Support Insulators

The High voltage support insulators offered by us mechanically support as well as electrically isolate discharge electrodes from grounded ESP casing & collecting curtains. Support insulators are designed for delivering high compressive strength to support loads imposed by high voltage electrodes as well as associated framing. Providing primary application point for high voltage & located in close proximity to gas stream, these high voltage support insulator’s design must also consider voltage applied and operating environment.

We offer customers a wide range of collecting plates that find application in electrostatic precipitators. These plates are made from rolled steel and are precision welded together in factory so as to reduce installation time at the jobsite. Further, each plate contains electrodes that are positively charged and when the particulate gas enters electrostatic precipitator and is struck with negative charge electrode, positively charged plates act as magnet and pull particulate gas to them. Some other features of these collecting plates include:
• Plates have both top & bottom stiffeners and plates that allow better mounting and ability to deal with more abuse from rappers (Plates are arranged to form a series of gas passages)
• There can be anywhere from 30-35 passages inside electrostatic precipitator shell (Plates are placed parallel to incoming particulate gas)
